Sarah Jones, Para Planner Sarah joined Belgrave in 2004 as a para planner having previously worked for other financial companies in Bath. Sarah brought with her a wealth of knowledge regarding products from unit trusts to ISA's and pension provision to mortgages. As well as providing invaluable support to the Directors, Sarah also assists our Mortgage Adviser, David Mayne, with mortgage applications and life protection.
Sarah holds the Financial Planning Certificate (FPC) 1, 2 and 3 as well as the Mortgage Advice Qualification. These qualifications help Sarah, whose primary focus as a para planner is on research, as these help her to understand the information gathered which then forms the basis of the written reports that Michael and Philippa send to clients. Going forward, Sarah hopes to gain a greater understanding of the investment processes and strategies applied when making recommendations to clients and, hopes to sit her Equity Release exam in the near future, all this as well as looking after daughter Emily!
Jenny Davis, Para Planner Jenny joined Belgrave in 2007 and works closely with Managing Director, Michael Smith, Investment Director, Philippa Mainstone and Pensions Director, Gemma Watson. She assists them in researching individual pension and investment products as well as any aspects that may affect the performance of investments.
Jenny also deals with any queries clients may have. As blanket answers are not part of Belgrave's bespoke service, she will investigate the client's query, conducting extensive research so that when she goes back to the client all possible options have been looked at. This research has helped Jenny pass her Certificate in Financial Planning 1 exam.
Caroline Hall, Investment & Pension Administrator Caroline is the latest member of staff to join the team, having recently come from another financial firm. Caroline's primary role is to assist the Pensions Department in all transactions relating to pensions while also assisting the para planners with all paperwork relating to investment transactions.
Having come from a department that did not provide advice, dealing with execution only transactions, to one that provides advice on the whole spectrum of financial products, Caroline is finding the learning not only interesting but beneficial as she hopes to take her financial planning exams in 2009.
