
Louise Heppel, Company Secretary & Client Services Director As Company Secretary, Louise ensures the smooth running of the firm. She has worked with Belgrave's founder, Managing Director Michael Smith, since the planning and inception stage of the firm. Her meticulous and organised approach reflects her considerable previous experience working in a leading firm of Bath solicitors.
As Client Services Director, she additionally focuses on all procedures relating to client matters at Board level. When founding Belgrave, Michael's ethos was to create an asset management company that put clients first. Louise ensures that principle is always central to the core of our operation. Louise has established many strong relationships with our clients.
Emma Finlay, Compliance & Technical Support Manager Emma joined Belgrave in 2007 having been in the financial services industry since 2000 when she joined a large national bank within their IFA section. Emma has attained many qualifications in her time in the industry and is currently aiming for Chartered status.
Emma has been in compliance since 2004 and enjoys the challenges of applying her knowledge and experience to the latest regulatory rules, to ensure that Belgrave's files remain compliant at every stage.
Frances Leach, Administration Manager Frances is the longest serving member of staff at Belgrave aside from the Directors. This has helped her to build an excellent understanding of the company, its needs and goals as well as those of its clients.
Frances heads up the private client Dealing and Settlement Team and is responsible for the day to day investment transactions and administration for all clients. This covers the whole spectrum of products and advice offered by Belgrave, from unit trusts and ISA's to pensions, life policies and investment bonds. In this role she works closely with Donna who together make up the Dealing and Settlement Team; as well as with the Pensions Department and Directors of Belgrave. Her role involves dealing with the clients and the investment companies to ensure that Belgrave's clients receive the highest level of customer service. Frances has recently passed her Certificate in Financial Planning 1 and is hoping to take 2 very soon.
Donna Parfitt, Accounts Manager Donna joined Belgrave in 2001 and, along with Frances, is one of the longest serving members of staff. As Accounts Manager, Donna not only provides support and advice to Belgrave's Directors in relation to the company's finances, but also works closely with Frances in the Dealing Team to ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved when it comes to client investment transactions.
Donna is a full member of the Association of Accounts Technicians (AAT), having previously worked for a local accountancy firm in Bath prior to joining Belgrave and, regularly assists clients in relation to their personal taxation affairs.
